2009 Lewy-Bertaut Prize
Lukas Palatinus receives the Lewy-Bertaut prize
Lukas Palatinus, scientific collaborator in the Laboratory of crystallography has been elected
for the Lewy Bertaut prize for his significant contribution to the solution of the phase problem in crystallography. It is the second time this prize is given and moreover, both laureates are from
the EPFL. The committee comes from two associations: European Crystallographic Asocciation
and European Neutron Scattering Association. The prize is awarded to a young European scientist
in recognition of notable contributions in the field of investigation of matter using crystallographic or
neutron scaterring methods.
